Bad karma catches up with Comcast

cableguy.jpg
For the last several months Comcast has consistently been in the news for their well executed “thank you for being our customer! How may we abuse you today?” business practices. Barely responding to new competition from their duopoly partners the telcos, after years of taking a good beating from satellite, Wall Street is finally taking notice.
The nervous Nellie’s of Manhattan’s nether regions have pushed the stock down almost 30% so far this year. Of course these very same worry warts were sweating about Verizon’s (VZ) bold bet on fiber to the home technologies. (from GigaOm)
Other duopoly members should take note: there but for the lack of doing anything good for your customer goes your fate, as what goes around comes around. If there is much more news like this, we’ll be starting the Comcast dead pool.
