Sorry but It’s Sold Out…

Remember this on the $199 PC by Everex? Well guess what — WalMart sold out of them on their website. 1 week folks, they sold out in 1 week. That might have been a runout on a test order. But I think it a minor marker that the net computer is an acceptable platform. We never said this PC would be an uber gaming machine but for Ma Frickert it’s what she needs. Presence on the net, apps on the net, Linux for stability. About as maintenance free as one can get without burning it all on a FPGA.

Google has to be smiling — more users using their apps not somebody else’s. Fact everyone is happy but possibly Microsoft and Sun. Anyone want more syrup with those Eggos?
