Herring Broadcasting in Snit with Time Warner
It appears that Herring is having a problem with Time Warner. An extension has been requested by TW to formulate a response.
“[Time Warner Cable] jawboned us while they studied our channel so they could copy it,” WealthTV CEO Robert Herring, Sr. said in a statement, “Once they saw its success, they stole our idea and created an inferior knock-off, MOJO, and launched that instead of WealthTV. It’s more lucrative for them to carry their own channel than to give us a fair chance to reach the public.”
WealthTV, which is also a high-definition network, has carriage on Verizon’s FiOS, AT&T’s U-verse and Charter Communications among other smaller operators. WealthTV is carried in HD on-demand on Time Warner Cable’s San Antonio system.

The Herrings are clueless twits with too much money. They don’t know their asses from A hole in the ground when it comes to the broadcasting business.
If they are worried about how they are being treated, then they should take a look at home. They treat their own employees TERRIBLE! They have no Human Resources dept. because the owner thought “it cost too much money”.
Wealth TV is nothing more than a modern high number filler cable channel sweat shop. Look at the owner’s history. Robert Herring owned a circuit board factory that was fined for polluting, and used illegal aliens as employees. Everything here is true! Check it out!
I have to agree with the above poster. The Herring family is AWFUL to work for! I worked at their three ring circus for sometime. They ARE clueless! They think that the broadcasting community “owes them”. It’s very laughable, because their programming is so poor! They do a few decent local shows with Ann Franken, but the shows they buy, are usually cheap, decades old, Canadian programs. Then they take these shows and hack the credits off the end or chop them up for time. To run more commercials? No they aren’t running ANY commercials. They are only running record offers and Orlando Florida vacation scams. The want to jam more of their promos on air, which is also hilarious since THATS ALL THEY RUN ANYWAYS!
The fact that the Herrings have to resort to legal avenues to get their “lifestyle channel” aired says it all, because their channel sure can’t stand up on it’s own two feet. It’s crap!
To make matters worse, they DO treat their employees very bad. While I was there I witnessed the the worst behavior by the Herrings and their “management”. The owner (known as “the old man” by the employees and Rick Pshock) does NOTHING except sit in his office and play on the computer. His son, Charles, does whatever daddy tells him. The other son Bobby, likes to scream at the top of his lungs at the employees and tell them how worthless they are. Their announcer, Rick Pshock, is also the Ops manager, although, the only thing he seems to manage is the girls in traffic, his coffee cup, and endless pack of cigs. Another screamer that has no business managing a men’s room, much less an alleged TV station. Theres a reason that Wealth TV is not on many systems, and when they are, it’s always waaaay up the dial, like channel 500. If you want a laugh, check out Wealth TV.
