Land of the Free?
You know, I am a big John Wayne fan. Even though he only won one oscar [True Grit] he defined the persona that was to be American for 40 years on the silver screen. And so the point of this?
Well I want you to go this article. No, you cheated, now go back and read the article please. So some guy walks into a mall and buys a cell phone. So what? Look, why is it you can go to Thailand, pluck down the cash and in less than 5min have a functioning cell phone? Why do Americans have to put up with long lines, contracts, locked systems, arbitration clauses and other consumer bashing effects. Why can’t we walk into a mall, buy what we want, and walk out? Our only obligation to pay for the airtime we use.
As the Duke would say — “Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway.” America do we need to put up with this garbage any longer?

Then again someone like Sprint could just get a clue and do business that way. They would get a ton of their old customers back.
