Fair Use

That in a industrial society requiring a learned populace the use of Copyrighted materials for the purposes of public discourse, teaching and political purposes the free use of excerpted subsets of said works are to be encouraged. Infringement upon fair use polices reduce innovation, and expansion of Intellectual property.

User Generated Content

That UGC is the future of digital content. As such the digital rights of the author should be protected under Open Source and/or Creative Common licensing precepts. Author objections to misuse, conversion or mislabeling of said content should be honored and enforced under applicable licenses.
